The Full Story

The story began with a simple observation – offshore cargo transport was stuck in a rut, operating on a single deck layer that limited its efficiency. It was a problem that plagued the industry worldwide, making it nearly impossible to fully utilize the potential of offshore vessels. Most ships is loaded with just fresh water, deck cargo and limited quantities of chemicals, or sometimes, only deck cargo, leaving their true capabilities largely untapped.

Geminus Cargo Solutions saw this as an opportunity, not a problem. They believed that the key to unlocking the potential of offshore vessels lay in maximizing their cargo capacity.

The founders envisioned a portfolio of double deck systems designed to not only maximize revenue for vessel owners but also reduce emissions, contributing to a greener future. Their vision is simple – a company that could offer vessel owners an alternative to the daunting choices of ordering a new build or purchasing a second-hand vessel. Geminus would provide a third, more sustainable choice – the ability to maximize a vessel's capacity with a robust and user-friendly double deck system.

The Geminus double deck system began to take shape, promising to change offshore cargo transport. It was a system that could be fitted onto all types of offshore vessels – platform supply vessels, FPSOs, rigs, and wind farm industry.
